Job Overview
The role focuses on managing and optimizing the telecalling vendor operations responsible for generating leads and converting those leads into insurance sales for BSLI under the HDFC Bank bancassurance partnership. The incumbent must ensure efficient manpower and capacity utilization of the telecalling model to maintain it as a strong sales channel within the partnership.
Context and Challenges
- Handling high attrition and maintaining required headcount at the vendor level amidst abundant external job opportunities.
- Continuously achieving sales targets across all HDFC processes by closely monitoring each lead's conversion and lead distribution.
- Coordinating seamlessly between internal sales teams and telecalling vendors to update and implement changes promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Forecast sales volumes including revenue and premium from the telesales team aligned with productivity goals.
- Ensure diligent tracking of leads and meetings and timely updates through management information systems (MIS).
- Strictly adhere to internal, regulatory, and compliance standards relevant to telesales operations.
- Follow the approved sales pitch rigorously to ensure effective meeting penetration.
