Overview

TITAN Cement Group is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to spearhead sales efforts within the UK operations. This position entails crafting and implementing sales strategies aimed at increasing sales volumes, expanding customer base, and maximizing profitability. The role emphasizes fostering strong customer relations and promoting high standards of product and service quality. Collaboration with various stakeholders will focus on uncovering and developing market opportunities for Alternative Cementitious Materials (ACMs) and other sustainable, low-carbon construction products, aligned with both the Company and Group's strategic goals.

This managerial role encompasses commercial oversight for both the Hull Terminal and Warrington Ash Processing Plant (APP) locations. The workplace is in the UK (Hull–Liverpool area) and reports directly to the Terminal Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives by identifying market needs, customer demands, competitor moves, and industry developments to drive growth and engagement.
  • Track sales outcomes and market trends, producing forecasts, budgets, and analytical reports while taking corrective measures to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Participate in shaping pricing policies, commercial contracts, and product plans, ensuring adherence to Company protocols and relevant legal regulations.
  • Spot and develop market potential for ACMs and other environmentally-friendly construction solutions, delivering technical sales guidance and consulting on mix designs to optimize client use cases.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with customers, distributors, and partners, offering value-added solutions that improve performance, reduce costs, enhance sustainability, and boost customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate customer creditworthiness, facilitate adherence to credit policies, and oversee timely collection of receivables.
  • Collaborate with Production and Quality Control teams to guarantee proper planning, product availability, timely delivery, and compliance with client specifications.
  • Represent TITAN Cement Group in dealings with industry bodies, governmental authorities, and transport firms to cultivate external partnerships and further business aims.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Expertise in cement products, Alternative Cementitious Materials, sustainable construction materials, and practical applications.
  • Solid knowledge of standards, regulations, and technical specifications relevant to cement and ACMs.
  • Exceptional technical sales acumen, communication proficiency, and presentation skills capable of engaging customers and clearly conveying complex concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities with the capacity to manage several clients and projects concurrently.
