Role Overview

As Sales Manager for the DACH region based in Berlin, Germany, you will lead sales growth through strategic market expansion and execution. Your responsibilities include developing market presence, building strong customer relationships, discovering new business prospects, and exceeding revenue goals by delivering innovative and exceptional service.

Key Duties

  • Implement strategies to boost sales performance and revenue by capturing market opportunities.
  • Develop and execute targeted territory plans, defining ideal customer profiles, mapping accounts, and identifying whitespace prospects.
  • Generate and nurture a robust sales pipeline using outbound outreach, social channels, and events; conduct discovery calls and build persuasive business cases based on return on investment.
  • Manage complex enterprise sales, coordinating with operations, IT, finance, procurement, and legal teams; lead pilots and Proof of Concepts; and negotiate Revenue as a Service (RaaS) agreements and multi-year contracts.
  • Expand partner networks by collaborating with system integrators, third-party logistics providers, and channel partners to create joint account plans and boost revenue.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts using recognized methodologies such as MEDDICC or BANT, maintain weekly updates, and ensure pipeline transparency and accountability.
  • Engage with executives by organizing site visits, reference calls, and value assessments, while cultivating champions at various organizational levels.
  • Foster cross-functional teamwork with Solutions Engineering (scope, design, pricing), Customer Success (land-and-expand strategies), and Marketing (account-based campaigns, events, content), ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Share market intelligence on competitive dynamics, pricing patterns, and customer feedback to guide product teams and leadership toward strategic decisions and innovation.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in enterprise new-business sales within B2B technology or industrial solutions, especially in warehouse robotics automation, warehouse logistics, or supply chain sectors.
  • Experience selling autonomous mobile robots (AMR), automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), automation equipment, or related software-enabled industrial solutions.
  • Established contacts within third-party logistics, retail/e-commerce, and healthcare sectors across the DACH region.
  • Knowledge of RaaS business models and multi-site deployment strategies.
  • Proven track record as a hunter-type new-business closer with consistent quota achievement and ability to close complex, multi-party deals valued at six figures annually or more.
  • Expertise in solution and value-driven sales, including total cost of ownership evaluations, labor and productivity assessments, throughput and service level agreement discussions, and creating compelling executive-level presentations.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce and mastery of structured sales forecasting techniques, with disciplined pipeline management and follow-up practices.
  • Possession of valid passport and driver’s license; willing to travel extensively across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (approximately 40–60% travel).
  • Fluent German (native or near-native) and proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders effectively.

Compensation and Additional Information

The anticipated base salary range is €50,000 to €100,000 annually, supplemented with bonuses and equity. Final offers will consider factors like candidate experience, educational background, key skills, location, and current market/business conditions.
