Overview
Thule Group is seeking a passionate Sales Manager to serve the regions of Mitte and Northern Germany, covering postal codes 01–49 and portions of the 5er region, focusing on their Adventure Camping and Sport/Outdoor product lines. This role offers autonomy with a home office base, maintaining close customer relationships to drive brand success in retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing retail partners in Adventure Camping and Sport/Outdoor sectors.
- Proactively acquire new customers to expand the distribution network.
- Establish sustainable client relationships fostering long-term collaboration.
- Manage sales targets, growth, and revenue performance within the assigned territory.
- Conduct product training sessions and sales presentations on-site at customer locations; regularly train retail sales staff of partners.
- Represent Thule at trade fairs, in-house exhibitions, and industry events.
- Ensure optimal brand visibility and presence at points of sale.
- Implement and monitor marketing and promotional campaigns effectively.
- Perform market, competitor, and customer trend analyses to inform strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities in Salesforce CRM.
- Analyze key performance indicators to drive actionable insights.
- Collaborate closely with national and international sales teams to align goals.
Candidate Profile
- Commercial or technical education completed successfully or equivalent qualification.
- Initial professional experience in sales, preferably within outdoor, sport, camping, or leisure industries.
- Passion for premium brands and technical solutions.
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Proficient with MS Office and keen interest in digital tools, including AI applications.
- Structured, independent, and results-driven working style.
- Strong negotiation skills, persuasiveness, and a pronounced customer focus.
- High self-motivation combined with team-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the sales region.
- Valid driver’s license class B.
- Preferably residing centrally within the sales territory.
