Everlast Gyms is looking for a Sales Host to join its team in Gateshead. This position is a 40-hour-per-week, on-site role focused on creating standout experiences for prospects, members, and guests while supporting both sales and retention goals.

Role Overview

The Sales Host plays a central role in turning interest into memberships, supporting existing members, and promoting the gym’s services, products, and experiences. The role combines sales, customer engagement, retention support, and operational assistance.

Main Duties

• Give every prospect, member, and guest a high-quality experience and use each interaction as a chance to support sales and retention.
• Actively work on membership sales, renewals, upgrades, and additional revenue through food and beverage, retail, and fitness product sales.
• Convert enquiries into memberships using strong objection handling, needs-led selling, and consistent follow-up.
• Help retain members by building relationships, spotting those at risk of leaving, and recommending relevant products and services.
• Lead gym tours that are tailored to the individual’s goals and position the right facilities and services to meet those needs.
• Work toward and surpass individual and club performance targets.
• Serve as a competent key holder when needed and support smooth opening, closing, and shift coverage.
• Learn and confidently use the membership software and related systems; full training will be provided.
• Represent the brand by promoting fitness challenges, class concepts, and the Workout Wednesday initiative to encourage participation.
• Support high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and gym-floor presentation so the club consistently looks its best.
• Assist the Head Coach with gym resets and other fitness-related tasks inside and outside the gym floor as required.
• Maintain solid knowledge of the products and services available.
• Deal with member questions and complaints in a professional manner and escalate issues to a manager when necessary.

This role requires availability across weekends and bank holidays. It is a flexible, business-led position where additional duties may be assigned when needed to support the team.
