Everlast Gyms is looking for a Sales Host to join the team in Colchester. The role is based onsite and is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.

Role Summary

This position focuses on creating a great experience for prospects, members, and guests while supporting both sales growth and member retention. The role combines customer interaction, membership conversion, and day-to-day club support.

Key Duties

  • Provide an excellent experience for every prospect, member, and guest, using each interaction as an opportunity to sell and retain members.
  • Actively increase membership sales, renewals, upgrades, and additional spend such as food and beverages, retail items, and fitness products.
  • Turn enquiries into memberships by handling objections confidently, selling to customer needs, and following up effectively.
  • Help retain members by developing strong relationships, spotting members at risk of leaving, and suggesting suitable products and services to improve their experience and results.
  • Lead personalised gym tours based on individual goals and recommend relevant facilities and services to maximise upgrades and conversions.
  • Consistently meet and exceed personal and club performance targets.
  • Serve as a competent key holder when needed and help ensure smooth opening, closing, and shift cover.
  • Learn and use the membership software and other systems, with training provided.
  • Represent the brand by promoting fitness challenges, class concepts, and the Workout Wednesday initiative to boost participation and engagement.
  • Support high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and gym floor presentation so the club always looks its best.
  • Assist the Head Coach with gym resets and other fitness-related tasks as required, both on and off the gym floor.
  • Stay well informed about the products and services available.
  • Deal with member questions and complaints professionally and escalate issues to a manager when necessary.
