Role Overview
The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying potential clients, promoting and selling the company's product offerings, and nurturing strong customer relationships. The objective is to consistently achieve or exceed sales goals while delivering high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new customers in the HORECA sector including hotels, restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, food courts, caterers, clubs, healthcare facilities, and corporate clients.
- Engage in continuous prospecting and delivering persuasive sales presentations.
- Negotiate commercial agreements within established company standards.
- Meet monthly and yearly sales objectives.
- Maintain robust relationships with key accounts through ongoing business reviews and responsiveness to their needs.
- Recommend appropriate beverage solutions and manage contract renewals and pricing discussions.
- Actively resolve any customer complaints to ensure satisfaction.
- Drive sales growth by promoting new products and seasonal campaigns to increase distribution, menu presence, and encourage cross-selling and upselling.
- Plan and conduct daily sales calls following the designated call schedule, ensuring product availability and replenishment.
- Monitor inventory and forecast demand to avoid stock-outs.
- Oversee proper execution of promotional activities and enhance product visibility via menus, displays, chillers, and point-of-sale materials.
- Ensure timely customer responses, collaborate across departments to solve operational challenges, and maintain high service standards including prompt delivery.
- Prepare quotations, tenders, and maintain accurate CRM records along with regular reporting on sales activities and performance.
- Work in close cooperation with marketing and product development teams to unify sales efforts and maximize customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or diploma in business, marketing, or a related discipline is advantageous.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous experience as a Sales Executive, ideally within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry.
- Fluent in English, Mandarin, and relevant dialects.
- Familiarity with SAP, PowerBi, and sales tracking software.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Valid Class 3 driving license with personal transport.
