Job description

Role overview

This position is focused on enterprise account management and business development in Qatar. The role combines new client acquisition, relationship management, pipeline building, forecasting, and sales execution across enterprise accounts.

What you will do

  • Source and qualify new enterprise opportunities, including generating your own leads in the market.
  • Manage a portfolio of enterprise clients across assigned industry segments.
  • Build and nurture client relationships in line with company sales standards.
  • Handle business-to-business relationships, including planning discussions and sales negotiations.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and keep CRM records current using Salesforce.com.
  • Spot opportunities for upselling and lead account review meetings.
  • Prepare account plans, forecasts, and expected revenue projections.
  • Recommend solutions from the product portfolio that match customer needs.
  • Keep the sales funnel updated at all times in Salesforce.com and related CRM tools.
  • Set yearly targets for new connections and ARPU growth.
  • Work closely with the wider sales team on major strategic accounts.
  • Close profitable, high-value deals for the Qatar business.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals set by the Sales Manager.
  • Operate with integrity and follow company values in every stage of business.
  • Develop trust-based relationships with customer stakeholders and points of contact.
  • Conduct regular customer visits; around 80% of the time is expected to be spent meeting clients and traveling.
  • Share progress updates with the Sales Manager on a regular basis.
  • Ensure daily updates of all leads and client information in Salesforce.com and CRM systems.
  • Act as an advocate for enterprise customers to help shape acquisition and growth proposals.
  • Share market intelligence, including trends and competitor activity, with sales and marketing leadership.
  • Collaborate with the broader sales team to align activity across the business segment.

Qualifications and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least 6 years of B2B sales and/or account management experience is needed.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Fluency in Arabic is preferred.
  • Strong target focus and a track record of delivering results are essential.
  • Experience in cold calling and generating new business is required.
  • Solid understanding of account management principles is expected.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary.
  • The candidate should be customer-focused and committed to exceeding customer expectations.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship selling is important.
  • The role requires a strong grasp of customer challenges, issues, and business drivers.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and secure commitment is required.
  • Must be able to recognize buying signals and spot closing opportunities.
  • Prior experience in the GCC market is required.
  • Resourcefulness and creative thinking are desirable.
  • Accurate and consistent opportunity qualification is preferred.
  • Influencing skills and the ability to work in demanding environments are desirable.
  • Ability to collaborate in multicultural and high-performing teams is important.
  • A technical background in IT and network solutions is an advantage.

Work style

This is an on-site role based in Doha, Qatar and involves extensive client-facing work and travel.

Additional information

The role includes responsibility for revenue and contribution margin delivery. It also requires regular coordination with internal teams and strict upkeep of CRM data for all leads and customer details.
