Sales Engineer - Pumps & Water Treatment Equipment

About the Role

Ecotech Middle East is expanding its footprint in Saudi Arabia and seeks an experienced Sales Engineer to join the Riyadh team. This position requires a technically proficient and commercially oriented mechanical engineer with expertise in pumps, water, wastewater equipment, or related industrial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities throughout Saudi Arabia.
• Market and sell a comprehensive range of industrial pumps, including dewatering, slurry, mining pumps, and water & wastewater treatment solutions.
• Establish and sustain strong partnerships with consultants, EPC contractors, construction firms, municipalities, utilities, industrial and mining sectors, oil & gas companies, quarries, and distributors.
• Analyze customer needs and provide appropriate pumping and processing system recommendations, including technical equipment selection.
• Oversee project lifecycle from initial inquiry, specifications, quotation, order processing, delivery, commissioning to post-sale support.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure on-time technical assistance and successful project completion.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical sales within pumps, water & wastewater equipment, or related industrial products.
• Proven experience collaborating with consultants, EPC contractors, municipalities, utilities, or developers.
• Solid knowledge of pumping systems and wastewater applications.
• Excellent technical expertise along with strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Saudi Arabia.
• Experience in the Saudi or GCC market is highly preferred.
• Possession of a Saudi driving license.
