About the Role
The Sales Engineer position at BANAN TAYBA Trading Est. is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh focused on promoting and selling low-voltage (LV) and medium-voltage (MV) cables. This role requires identifying customer needs specific to cable projects, proposing appropriate technical solutions, and supporting the entire sales process—from initial engagement to post-sale support.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with potential and current customers to understand project requirements related to LV and MV cables.
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and provide technical guidance.
- Manage follow-ups on product offers, negotiate, and finalize orders and quotations.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless and timely product delivery.
- Maintain strong customer relationships by responding promptly to product-related queries and providing dedicated support.
- Monitor competitor offerings and market trends to assist business development efforts.
- Document sales activities accurately, report on the sales pipeline and performance metrics.
- Participate in improving sales tools and related presentation materials.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven expertise in sales engineering with a focus on low-voltage and medium-voltage cables.
- Previous experience in a similar sales engineering capacity within Riyadh or the surrounding region is essential.
- Strong sales and customer service abilities to handle full sales cycles and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present technical details and collaborate with internal teams.
- Proficiency in common office productivity software such as email, spreadsheets, and presentation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to work on-site with the ability to travel locally as required.
- Fluent communication skills in English and Arabic.
