Position Summary
The Sales Director will spearhead EnVogue's wholesale expansion by driving sales strategies that increase market share and revenue, while enhancing relationships with key retail partners. This executive role demands a commercial mindset focused on business development, team leadership, and strategic growth, working closely with senior leadership to influence sales direction and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement robust sales plans to boost revenue growth and foster lasting customer partnerships.
- Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and profit & loss performance with an emphasis on optimizing margins.
- Lead negotiations on complex contracts to secure vital retail partnerships.
- Establish and nurture executive-level connections with major national and international retail clients.
- Guide and develop a capable sales team by promoting accountability and high achievement.
- Analyze competitive landscapes, customer demands, and market trends to refine business strategies.
- Discover and develop new business opportunities, product segments, and sales channels.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of eight years in wholesale or B2B sales leadership, preferably in home décor, consumer goods, fashion, beauty, gifts, or related retail industries.
- Proven ability to manage and grow accounts with significant retailers like Walmart, Target, Costco, Macy's, Nordstrom, and others.
- Deep knowledge of retail merchandising, buying patterns, category management, and strategic account planning.
- Track record of successfully driving revenue gains, increasing market share, and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and organizational management.
