Role Overview

As a Sales Development Representative working with the New Zealand Sales Team and reporting to the Sales Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving Employment Hero’s expansion by generating qualified leads and sales opportunities. Your efforts will directly support our mission to transform workforce management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new sales opportunities via lead follow-ups, outbound cold calls, and email campaigns.
  • Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers within target accounts to spark interest in our solutions.
  • Partner with Account Executives to progress promising leads toward closure.
  • Maintain and expand your prospect database to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Perform engaging online demonstrations for prospects when required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of one year proven experience in high-volume outbound B2B sales.
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, ZoomInfo, and Outreach.
  • Demonstrated record of consistently exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong telephone communication skills with resilience for extensive calling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Effective listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
