About the Role
Budding Mariners is hiring a Sales Associate to help grow its customer base and contribute to revenue expansion. This role suits a motivated fresher with a strong interest in sales, relationship-building, and the merchant navy education space.
What You’ll Do
- Help execute sales plans aimed at improving conversions and meeting business targets.
- Respond to customer questions and concerns quickly and professionally.
- Maintain sales activity and customer interaction records in Salesforce.
- Work closely with team members to keep day-to-day sales operations running smoothly.
- Use MS Excel and Google Sheets to review sales information and prepare reports.
- Partner with sales leadership to suggest and apply better sales approaches.
- Bring enthusiasm for selling and an interest in the maritime education domain.
Communication Requirements
Strong command of English along with Malayalam and Tamil is important for this position, as the role involves regular communication with a varied customer base. Kannada communication ability may also be useful given the broader market coverage.
Tools and Technical Work
You should be comfortable using Salesforce for CRM tracking, and working with spreadsheet tools such as MS Excel and Google Sheets for analysis and reporting.
