About the Role
The Sales Associate at KidStrong plays an essential role in expanding membership by engaging potential clients and guiding them through the sales process. This part-time remote position requires expertise in lead management, effective communication, and closing sales to support our mission of child development. Candidates should be passionate about fitness, children, and education, and have strong organizational skills to manage multiple prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive outreach to prospective members via phone and text to promote KidStrong's offerings.
- Use provided materials and scripts to clearly communicate membership benefits.
- Build positive relationships with leads and trial customers to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Qualify leads by evaluating their interests and needs.
- Deliver accurate and timely membership information including options, pricing, and program specifics.
- Follow up persistently to resolve queries and secure membership sales.
- Facilitate new member enrollment and onboarding processes.
- Coordinate with center leadership to update status of leads, memberships, and trials ensuring seamless transitions to in-center experiences.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and member interactions via CRM tools.
- Track and analyze sales metrics such as conversion rates and retention.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies for achieving sales goals.
Candidate Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales, especially phone-based or telemarketing roles.
- Exceptional communication skills with professionalism in all interactions.
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail for managing numerous leads and sales steps.
- Comfortable working autonomously and within a remote team.
- Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Background or interest in fitness, education, or children's programs preferred.
- Familiarity with sales strategies for membership-driven businesses.
- Preferred but not required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM or 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM
- Weekends: 9:00 AM - 1:45 PM
- Shifts may vary based on lead flow.
Additional Information
- No supervisory duties are associated with this role.
- Close collaboration with KidStrong Everett staff and franchise owners is required with high professionalism.
- Evening and weekend availability is necessary.
- Remote, flexible work arrangements are available.
- Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.
