Overview
Join the LEGO Group as a Sales Associate specializing in bricks, where you'll delight guests through engaging and meaningful interactions to ensure exceptional shopping experiences. This role focuses on maintaining a professional, friendly, and helpful environment for customers at LEGO stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome every visitor to the store and handle all cash register operations while maintaining a courteous and approachable demeanor (80% of work time).
- Maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing store environment by performing daily cleaning tasks, sustaining merchandise displays, and following LEGO Brand Retail visual standards (10%).
- Efficiently operate the stockroom: assist in receiving merchandise, keep the area organized according to brand standards, comply with safety regulations, and inform management of stock shortages (10%).
- Communicate clearly and effectively with both team members and customers.
- Work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and varied business hours.
- Access all store areas freely, including sales floor, stockrooms, registers, and loading dock.
Physical Requirements
- Constant standing, talking, reaching, grabbing, and moving, with the ability to stand for at least two hours continuously.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders.
- Capability for close vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.
Work Schedule & Availability
Availability to work up to 25 hours weekly is required, though scheduling may be less than this total.
