Role Overview

The Sales Assistant is vital in boosting sales and enhancing customer experiences at the store. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the role involves upholding store cleanliness and presentation, engaging customers effectively, and carrying out assigned operational duties. Performance is assessed through maintaining visual standards, delivering excellent service, and contributing to sales and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome every customer immediately upon entry with a friendly, non-formal greeting.
• Create a positive first impression through energetic demeanor and proper dress code adherence.
• Deliver attentive service in fitting rooms and promptly follow up with customers.
• Sincerely thank customers upon exit and invite their return visits.
• Inform customers about products with up-to-date and relevant details.
• Encourage additional purchases by suggesting complementary products or services.
• Promote gift cards at checkout to increase sales.
• Maintain a spotless and organized shopping environment, adhering to store standards.
• Keep cash wrap areas clean and ensure swift service delivery.
• Record customer data accurately to enhance service quality and marketing.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma is mandatory.
• Between one and two years of retail sales experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Illustrator, or Photoshop is required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills complemented by a passion for customer interaction.
• Capability to perform physical activities including heavy lifting and standing for long durations (up to 8 hours).
