About the Role

Join H&T Group Ltd as a Store Colleague in Crewe, where you will be a key representative of one of the UK’s leading pawnbrokers and a top ten jewellery and watch retailer. Your role will involve welcoming customers warmly, understanding their varied needs, and delivering tailored solutions to ensure excellent outcomes every time.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service with friendliness and professionalism
• Support customers through services such as pawnbroking, retail sales, and financial products
• Ensure store presentation and compliance standards are consistently upheld
• Collaborate closely with the team to surpass set sales and service targets
• Manage transactions accurately and securely
• Multilingual abilities are advantageous due to a diverse customer base but are not mandatory

Candidate Requirements

While no prior experience in pawnbroking is necessary, candidates should demonstrate a strong interpersonal interest, high integrity, and eagerness to learn. Full training and support will be provided to build confidence in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Work Conditions

• Full-time position with a 37.5-hour workweek
• Flexible scheduling across all days Monday through Sunday

Compensation and Benefits

The starting pay rate is £12.75 per hour (£24,863 annually), which will increase to £13.44 per hour after successful completion of training. Additional discretionary bonuses up to £2,000 annually are available based on performance metrics.
