About Polène
Established in 2016, Polène is a French leather goods house known for refined craftsmanship and enduring designs shaped by natural forms. As the brand expands internationally, it is strengthening its organization for 2026 and beyond by bringing in strong talent to build deeper expertise across the business. The label’s artistic direction supports the growth of its handbag and jewelry lines, with production supported by 800 artisans in workshops based in Ubrique, Spain.
Polène is looking for someone to join the store team and help deliver a premium in-store experience at the flagship. This role is centered on serving an upscale international clientele and contributing to the brand’s retail journey.
Role Overview
Polène boutiques represent the brand’s world and are designed to appeal to a sophisticated global customer base. This position is suited to a professional who is passionate about luxury leather goods and committed to delivering outstanding service every day. The store is looking for someone with solid retail experience who can create memorable experiences for demanding customers.
Customer Experience and Sales
- Use the right sales approach to improve conversion and make every visitor feel welcomed and encouraged to return.
- Guide customers through the full buying journey, from first greeting to final farewell, while providing attentive and high-quality service.
- Deliver a tailored and polished customer experience that reflects the Polène brand and responds carefully to each client’s needs.
- Support add-on selling and clearly present the brand’s services before and after purchase.
Cash Handling and Store Support
- Manage register opening and closing procedures and complete payment transactions.
- Contribute to CRM follow-up and daily store reporting.
- Help keep the boutique in excellent condition by maintaining merchandising standards, supporting sales floor organization, and assisting with stock and inventory tasks.
Opening and Closing Duties
- Before opening, prepare the boutique by switching on lights, equipment, and music, checking merchandising, and replenishing shopping bags.
- After closing, complete telecollection steps, secure the registers, send required reports, switch off lighting and equipment, update merchandising based on stock, organize materials, and turn off music.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience working with high-end international customers in a similar position, preferably in luxury or leather goods retail. A genuine appreciation for craftsmanship and leather artistry is important, along with the ability to communicate that passion to customers. The right person should be comfortable working in a team, pleasant and approachable in style, confident in initiating meaningful client interactions, and highly service-driven. Strong discipline, initiative, attention to detail, independence, flexibility, and resilience are also needed to manage busy store traffic effectively.
Additional Information
Polène welcomes applications from people who are truly enthusiastic about luxury leather goods and exceptional customer service. The company states that it is committed to inclusive recruitment and to treating every candidate fairly and ethically throughout the hiring process.
