Role Summary
Xerox is seeking a SAFe Product Owner to support Agile delivery for a Data Center Architecture and Tools team. In this role, you will own backlog direction, align priorities with business goals, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver features that create measurable customer value. The position calls for solid SAFe knowledge, familiarity with data center technologies and tools, and the ability to communicate clearly across teams and time zones.
What You Will Do
- Shape a clear product roadmap and keep feature and enhancement priorities well ordered.
- Own and maintain the product backlog so it reflects the product vision and business objectives.
- Partner with customers, business leaders, and development teams to gather needs and confirm alignment.
- Coordinate work across teams located in India, the Philippines, and the US.
- Explain product goals, priorities, and expectations to the delivery team in a way that is easy to act on.
- Work with the Scrum Master, Agile teams, and fellow Product Owners during PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Continuously update the backlog in response to feedback, shifting priorities, and market changes.
- Use data and metrics to guide roadmap decisions and improve customer value.
- Join demos and reviews, offering feedback and checking that delivered work meets acceptance criteria.
- Track KPIs and other performance indicators to monitor progress and support decision-making.
- Encourage teamwork, innovation, and ongoing improvement within the group.
What We Are Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience working as a Product Owner in a SAFe setting.
- Strong grasp of Agile and SAFe principles, methods, and frameworks.
- Background working with distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones.
- Understanding of data center practices and associated tools.
- Familiarity with patching, configuration management, and monitoring tools used in data center environments.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to convert business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Analytical decision-making approach backed by data.
- Good organization and time management skills.
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification would be an advantage.
- Experience with ServiceNow Agile Project Management tools is preferred.
