Role overview
We are looking for an energetic and driven Rookie Pest Control Technician to join the team in Cork City. This is a permanent, full-time position based onsite. The role involves visiting clients from the branch and delivering pest control services to a consistently high standard.
The base salary is €30,300 per year, paid monthly. Full training is provided, so prior pest control expertise is not required.
What you will do
- Maintain service quality across your client portfolio and ensure every account is looked after professionally.
- Advise customers on all aspects of pest control and provide practical, expert guidance.
- Prepare accurate call reports so clients are fully informed about the actions taken on their premises.
- Work towards delivering a complete and effective solution for each pest issue.
- Present a tidy, professional image at all times.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring the following:
- A full, clean driving licence.
- A strong interest in pest control, with no fear of heights or pests.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Good time management and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
- A friendly, enthusiastic approach to customer interaction and spotting opportunities for new business.
Training and support
