Overview

Join RAC as a Roadside Technician in the Harlow area, covering nearby regions including Bishop’s Stortford, Sawbridgeworth, Waltham Abbey, Epping, and Hoddesdon. This role involves starting and ending your shifts from home, providing local and timely roadside assistance to members.

Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of the Patrol division, you will conduct mechanical roadside repairs, vehicle diagnostics, and emergency breakdown services. Tasks range from jump-starting batteries and changing tyres to diagnosing complex faults, delivering effective solutions and exceptional customer care in varied roadside conditions.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance with at least two years’ experience;
  • Or a minimum of five years’ experience working as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic.

Additionally, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence with fewer than six penalty points.
