Job Overview

The RMS Executive role involves continuous 24/7 oversight of the company's remote infrastructure using an advanced Remote Monitoring System, ensuring optimal uptime and prompt handling of alerts and faults.

Primary Responsibilities

Monitor system dashboards in real-time to evaluate the health and efficiency of remote assets like solar plants, power systems, and industrial sensors.
Detect and diagnose system issues such as anomalies, faults, or connectivity disruptions, initiating swift corrective measures.
Conduct remote diagnostics and perform level-1 troubleshooting to fix technical problems without on-site visits.
Analyze data trends and energy production reports to spot inefficiencies or predict hardware malfunctions.
Prepare daily and monthly performance documentation detailing uptime, downtimes, and significant incidents for management assessment.
Collaborate with on-site engineers and technical teams to assist with complex maintenance and repair tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or Instrumentation.
Between 1 to 3 years of practical experience in remote monitoring, operations and maintenance, or control room duties.
Preferred but not mandatory certifications in IoT or Network Administration.
Strong familiarity with IoT monitoring platforms, SCADA systems, or cloud-enabled data logging technologies.
Ability to interpret complex data visuals and technical alerts to identify root causes.
Proficient troubleshooting capacity for electronic and electrical systems.
Competency with MS Excel for data entry and basic understanding of network protocols such as Modbus, RS485, and TCP/IP.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and coordination with field personnel.
