Role Overview
Parsons is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Risk Lead Officer to manage the risk function for its operations in the Tabuk region. The role focuses on building and maintaining a strong risk management approach across major project packages, with responsibility for spotting, evaluating, and reducing strategic, operational, and financial exposures.
This opportunity is intended for a Saudi National who can help strengthen a risk-conscious environment and support the delivery of project goals safely, on schedule, and within budget in a demanding, fast-moving setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the rollout of the Project Risk Management Plan in line with Parsons standards and the NEOM governance framework.
- Run recurring risk identification sessions with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to surface new risks and potential upside opportunities.
- Keep the project Risk Register current and perform both qualitative and quantitative risk evaluations, including Monte Carlo simulation where relevant.
- Build, follow up on, and measure the impact of mitigation plans together with the relevant task owners.
- Create detailed risk dashboards and leadership reports that clearly show key risk patterns, exposure levels, and recommended contingency measures.
- Promote risk awareness across the team and support junior colleagues and project stakeholders with guidance and advice.
Required Background
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Arts/Psychology, or a related field is required; a master’s degree in Business Administration or a similar discipline is also acceptable.
- At least 4 years of direct experience in project risk management is needed.
- Applicants must have practical, hands-on exposure to the NEOM project environment in the Tabuk region.
Desired Technical and Professional Skills
- Ability to use risk management tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis, @RISK, or Active Risk Manager.
- Comfort working with advanced data visualization platforms.
- Strong written and spoken English and Arabic communication skills.
- Excellent facilitation, critical thinking, and cross-functional influencing abilities.
