Overview
Google seeks a Reverse Supply Chain Program Manager to oversee the operational aspects of reverse supply chain processes supporting its global network infrastructure. This role involves managing projects related to network equipment decommissioning and faulty part replacement, partnering across teams to scale operations efficiently worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of reverse supply chain operations, including network gear decommissioning and the replacement of damaged components.
- Monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics, perform root cause analyses, and implement actions to close performance gaps.
- Define detailed business requirements and contribute to developing systems and tools that improve reverse supply chain effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to support operational activities seamlessly.
- Design and implement scalable, end-to-end reverse supply chain processes capable of handling volume growth across multiple global locations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in program or project management, particularly within supply chain functions.
- Proven ability to meet operational goals and key metrics, with strong problem-solving skills to identify risks and determine corrective strategies.
- Exceptional communication skills facilitating influence across all organizational levels.
- Experience delivering data-driven analysis to support business proposals, supply chain design, and risk mitigation.
- Ability to switch between detailed analytical work and broad strategic perspectives, tailoring communication to diverse audiences.
