Job description

About the role

This position sits within Google’s Global Networking and Infrastructure organization and focuses on the supply of materials and services used to build, maintain, and expand the company’s network. The team supports network reliability, capacity delivery, and cost efficiency while working closely with other internal groups and partner teams across regions.

The reverse supply chain function covers operational processes tied to retiring network equipment and replacing damaged or defective parts. The role requires strong program management skills, hands-on operational ownership, and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders, locations, and time zones.

Google gives preference to candidates who already have the legal right to work in Singapore and do not need visa sponsorship.

Minimum qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of practical experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in program or project management.
  • At least 1 year of experience handling programs and processes within supply chain operations.

Preferred qualifications

  • A master’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven ability to improve operational KPIs, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, including balancing risks and opportunities to reach the right outcome.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
  • Experience using data-backed analysis to support business proposals, supply chain design, and supply risk reduction.
  • Comfort with moving between detailed analysis and broader strategic thinking, while tailoring communication to different audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day management of reverse supply chain activities, including retiring network equipment and handling replacement of damaged or faulty components.
  • Track operational KPIs and performance indicators, investigate issues, and close performance gaps through corrective action.
  • Define business requirements and help build systems and tools that improve reverse supply chain execution.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners involved in reverse supply chain operations.
  • Help design and roll out end-to-end reverse supply chain processes that can scale across growing volumes and multiple global locations.

Additional information

This role is part of a team that supports Google’s network infrastructure operations across global regions. The broader mission is to drive strong execution, innovation, and operational advantage for the network supply chain function.
