Position Summary
The Revenue Management Specialist will spearhead the advancement of the company's analytics framework, playing a pivotal role in commercial decision-making and enhancing business outcomes. This position transcends traditional reporting by converting data into strategic insights, uncovering growth avenues, and collaborating effectively with marketing, operations, and delivery teams.
Core Duties
- Analyze essential business metrics such as sales trends, order volumes, and customer behavior patterns.
- Identify fundamental factors influencing performance, including traffic, conversion rates, and basket size, providing actionable insights.
- Proactively uncover challenges and growth opportunities beyond routine reporting.
- Deliver structured recommendations to support leadership's decision processes.
- Track and assess performance across multiple delivery platforms (e.g., Talabat, Deliveroo, Noon).
- Examine the entire customer journey, from visibility through conversions, order values, to cancellations.
- Advise on optimizations related to menu assortment, pricing strategies, promotions, and platform positioning.
- Liaise with operations to identify gaps such as cancellations, service issues, and availability concerns.
- Contribute to the formulation of platform-centric growth initiatives.
- Review and appraise commercial agreements with delivery services, pinpointing risks and areas for enhancement.
- Serve as the main point of contact for performance discussions and issue resolution with delivery platforms.
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotions across channels.
- Analyze drivers of customer acquisition, retention, and repeat business and provide strategies accordingly.
- Support targeting, segmentation, and promotional campaigns through data-driven insights.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports monitoring vital performance indicators, ensuring precision and consistency.
- Enhance reporting frameworks prioritizing insights over data volume, suggesting and incorporating new tools as needed.
- Assess current data infrastructure, identify improvement opportunities, and streamline workflows with stakeholders.
- Utilize software such as Excel, Power BI, and similar platforms to visualize data clearly.
- Collaborate with operations, marketing, and other departments to boost overall organizational performance.
- Identify inefficiencies and back improvement projects with data support.
- Translate intricate data findings into succinct business narratives.
- Conduct specialized analyses supporting strategic questions, evaluating new initiatives and growth prospects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Operations Management, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of four years’ experience in business or data analysis roles.
- Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable data visualization tools.
- Expertise in sales analytics, business intelligence, and digital marketing performance measurement.
- Ability to interpret data insights into practical business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience working with restaurant, fast-food, FMCG, or food delivery datasets (Talabat, Deliveroo experience advantageous).
- Proficiency in English required; knowledge of Mandarin, Arabic, or Russian is beneficial.
