Job Description

The Revenue Executive plays a crucial role in supporting the hotel's revenue management objectives by meticulously managing room inventory, setting optimal rates, and leveraging distribution channels to maximize occupancy and Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR). This position requires close collaboration with the Sales, Reservations, Front Office departments, and the Revenue/Reservations Manager to implement effective pricing strategies and accurate demand forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly room pricing strategies.
  • Monitor and adjust room rates across Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), direct booking channels, and corporate accounts.
  • Support dynamic pricing adjustments based on real-time demand, seasonal fluctuations, and prevailing market trends.
  • Contribute to efforts aimed at increasing RevPAR, Average Daily Rate (ADR), and overall occupancy levels.
  • Oversee and manage room availability across all distribution platforms, including OTAs, GDS, and direct booking sites.
  • Ensure consistent rate parity across all online sales channels.
  • Implement necessary room restrictions, such as closing or opening rates, setting minimum stay requirements, and applying stop-sell measures when needed.
  • Monitor competitor pricing strategies and analyze market demand patterns.
  • Prepare regular reports on room bookings (pick-up reports) and revenue forecasts.
  • Analyze booking pace, cancellation rates, and no-show trends to inform strategy.
  • Maintain close communication with Reservations and Front Office teams for up-to-the-minute operational updates.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to manage corporate and group booking inquiries and allocations.
  • Provide support to the Revenue Manager in the implementation of revenue strategies.
  • Maintain and update Property Management Systems (PMS) and Revenue Management Systems (RMS), such as Opera and IDeaS.
  • Generate comprehensive reports on revenue performance and key metrics.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data entered into systems and maintain overall system integrity.
