Role Summary
The Hygiene Officer will oversee hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards across the hotel. This position ensures that daily practices align with international hospitality expectations as well as local health requirements. The role also includes regular inspections, tracking cleanliness compliance, reinforcing HACCP and food safety processes, training team members on hygiene practices, and assisting with broader health and safety functions within the property.
Qualifications
- A diploma or certification in Food Safety, Hospitality Management, Environmental Health, or a similar discipline is required.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a comparable role within a hotel or hospitality setting is needed.
- Working knowledge of HACCP, food safety rules, and hygiene protocols is expected.
- Applicants should have strong communication abilities, reporting skills, and solid organizational capability.
- Computer proficiency, including familiarity with MS Office, is necessary.
