Role Summary
This position is aimed at strengthening revenue performance through careful review of market trends, demand movements, pricing, and inventory management across distribution channels. The role supports revenue optimization by building accurate forecasts, tracking performance, analyzing variances, and coordinating with stakeholders while maintaining reliable data and aligning actions with market conditions and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Track business movement and maintain records for daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly pickup, pricing, and business-on-books performance.
- Assist in shaping pricing and revenue optimization plans in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Observe pickup trends, lead times, and broader business patterns, then compare actuals with forecasts to review variances.
- Keep revenue-related data accurate and consistent across all systems.
- Handle inventory and pricing planning across all channels, including brand website, third-party websites, and GDS.
- Facilitate weekly revenue review meetings.
- Contribute to improving productivity through direct channels and helping build a more profitable business mix.
- Prepare business forecasts for all units in the cluster using historical trends and changes in demand and supply across cities.
- Review and update the Best Available Rate and demand calendar for the next 365 days.
Education and Experience
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field and bring 1 to 3 years of experience in revenue analysis, financial analysis, or a comparable role. Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas, are important, along with solid analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, communication skills, attention to detail, and the capability to perform under tight deadlines.
