About the Role
Ampol is a major Australian convenience retail business focused on making everyday errands faster and easier for customers. In this role, you will help create a positive in-store experience by greeting customers warmly, supporting quick service, and keeping the site running smoothly.
What You Will Be Doing
You will contribute to day-to-day retail operations by maintaining store presentation, managing stock and inventory, and handling point-of-sale activity. Accuracy, safety, and strong customer service are central to the position.
- Provide attentive service and aim to exceed customer expectations.
- Assist the Store Manager with routine retail operations.
- Work closely with teammates to support a productive store environment.
- Maintain a strong focus on detail, safety, and accuracy.
- Be available to work across a 7-day roster, including nights and weekends.
Experience and Skills
Retail or customer-facing experience is preferred. You should be comfortable using POS systems, processing cash correctly, and communicating clearly while working cooperatively with others.
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Ability to operate a POS terminal and reconcile cash accurately.
- Good communication skills.
- Team-oriented approach.
