Retail Team Member - Chinchilla

About the Role

Ampol is a leading convenience retailer in Australia devoted to enhancing customers' everyday experiences. At our Chinchilla location, you will provide friendly service and assist customers with their fuel and convenience needs efficiently and courteously.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by prioritising and exceeding customer expectations.
• Assist the Store Manager by contributing your retail experience to daily operational tasks.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain smooth store functions.
• Ensure accuracy and safety by maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.
• Maintain flexibility to work on a 7-day roster including weekends and overnight shifts as required.
• Handle merchandising, stock control, and inventory tasks to keep the store well organised.
• Operate POS systems efficiently and perform accurate cash reconciliations at the end of shifts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred.
• Proficiency in using POS systems and managing cash transactions with accuracy.
• Strong communication skills to engage with customers and team members effectively.
• Ability to work flexibly including weekends and overnight hours.
