Role Overview
This position supports the Senior Director of Retail Operations in running the day-to-day functions of retail stores. The focus is on smooth execution, strong profitability, efficient processes, and an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure store teams follow company policies, procedures, and operating standards.
- Refine and maintain operational systems, policies, and procedures across retail locations.
- Train and coach store teams on operational execution, including POS use, returns, budgeting, clienteling, inventory control, and loss prevention.
- Put controls in place to safeguard company assets such as cash and inventory.
- Track retail spending and keep store-level budgets on target.
- Review the accuracy of receiving, transfers, damages, and RTV activity.
- Oversee the clienteling platform and help drive store performance through it.
- Act as a communication link between retail stores and the corporate office.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting service quality, productivity, or efficiency.
- Strengthen customer service standards and adjust the client experience to business needs.
- Use good judgment independently and in partnership with retail and corporate leaders on daily store operations.
- Support store openings and renovation projects.
- Lead new initiatives, technology rollouts, and process implementation efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong analytical thinking, including familiarity with financial statements and KPI reporting.
- Proven experience training teams and influencing others positively.
- Working knowledge of loss prevention principles and enforcement methods.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal and external cross-functional partners.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to build and improve processes that enhance the customer experience.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and thorough review.
- Capacity to think strategically while also executing tactically.
- Ability to align home-office goals with the needs and priorities of store teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Background in upper management within luxury or contemporary retail stores.
- At least 5 years of experience in retail operations, either in a multi-store or corporate environment.
- Experience with Shopify POS.
- Experience managing omnichannel operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organization, and follow-through.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally when required.

Compensation
The expected salary range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000, depending on the candidate’s experience and expectations.
