Core Responsibilities

• Handle customer purchases accurately and efficiently through POS systems, including cash, card, and mobile transactions.
• Deliver courteous, professional support at the checkout by responding to queries, addressing minor concerns, and guiding shoppers to the right products or team members.
• Verify the cash float at the beginning and end of each shift, and escalate any mismatch to the supervisor.
• Keep the checkout counter neat and orderly, while also helping with simple restocking tasks when required.
• Apply company rules for returns, discounts, and promotions to stay compliant and reduce shrinkage.
• Immediately notify management if any unusual activity or security issue is observed.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to operate POS systems confidently.
• Strong cash handling and transaction accuracy.
• Customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good basic numeracy and attention to detail.
• Capability to manage minor customer concerns calmly.
• Valid UAE work authorization, or the ability to obtain it.
