Retail Assistant - Seasonal Casual Position

About The Role

Become a member of The Dock team, the official Fremantle Dockers' merchandise store, during the vibrant AFL and AFLW season crossover period. We are assembling a seasonal casual retail team based at our Cockburn Central location to manage peak trading demands. Your role will ensure smooth operations on matchdays and throughout the season, contributing to a club that values teamwork, inclusion, and community engagement.

Role Scope

• Deliver courteous and efficient service on the sales floor and at the cashier.
• Conduct accurate sales processing through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle stock reception, visual merchandising, and inventory upkeep both on the floor and in storage areas.
• Prepare and dispatch online and Click & Collect orders.
• Assist with stocktaking activities, replenishing stock, and maintaining store appearance.
• Foster a safe, welcoming environment for club members, fans, and visitors.

This casual position spans roughly 3 to 4 months from late August through December, entailing shifts typically ranging from 15 to 20 hours weekly, including weekends and matchdays scheduled in advance.

Candidate Profile

• A current or willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check.
