About the Role
Join Tim Hortons UK & Ireland Ltd. as a Restaurant Team Member located in Birstall, England. This full-time opportunity provides a dynamic work environment delivering genuine Canadian hospitality as part of a rapidly expanding UK presence. Tim Hortons operates over 5,000 quick service restaurants globally, serving over 2 billion cups of coffee annually, and aims to open hundreds of new outlets across the UK in the next decade. As a Restaurant Team Member, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional customer experiences and supporting an exceptional brand.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet every customer warmly and maintain friendly interactions throughout their visit.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous service to all guests.
- Handle straightforward customer queries and direct complex issues to management.
- Ensure food preparation and storage comply with Health & Safety guidelines and audit standards.
- Perform temperature checks and record results as required by company protocols.
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning tasks following the cleaning schedule.
- Maintain critical standards related to product quality, service speed, cleanliness, and sanitation.
- Meet performance benchmarks at crew stations, following shift manager instructions.
- Work towards restaurant goals and targets through your daily activities.
- Keep operational and kitchen spaces clean and stocked to enhance customer comfort and convenience.
- Report workplace incidents, near misses, injuries, or illnesses immediately.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
Qualifications and Requirements
The ideal candidate is a positive, reliable team player with experience in customer service within a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus are essential. Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends is required. Passion for outstanding service and enthusiasm for coffee is highly valued.
