Role Overview

As a Resource Management Product Specialist, you will be critical in evolving Resource Management across dnata’s global operations. Serving as a liaison among operational teams, technology providers, and business stakeholders, your role focuses on advancing Resource Management products and processes to meet business objectives, operational demands, and best industry practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the business scope and obtain approval while managing capacity, backlog refinement, and coordinating testing including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Collaborate on technical requirement development and lead feature approvals to ensure alignment with product objectives.
• Track system usage, metrics, user input, and operational results to identify improvement prospects and increase value realization.
• Support system improvements through testing, documenting, and vendor liaison, ensuring compliance and managing scope, risks, and readiness for implementation.
• Lead change management efforts and training to facilitate smooth adoption and minimize disruptions, contributing to risk and contingency planning.
• Provide expert guidance to business users to maximize benefits from Resource Management systems and procedures.
• Work with global teams to pinpoint opportunities for standardization, efficiency, automation, and innovation.
• Assist the Program Manager by preparing governance documents, reports, and steering committee content to maintain governance and alignment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or honors in Commerce, Business, IT, or related field.
• At least five years’ experience in airport operations or ground handling, preferably with a major airline or aviation provider.
• Deep understanding of airline processes and regulatory frameworks.
• Proven problem-solving abilities along with strong planning and organizational skills.
• Knowledgeable in airport safety and security regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and dedication to service excellence, results delivery, and change management.

Preferred Skills and Exposure

• Experience with Product Management, Business Analysis, or vendor coordination roles.
• Background in resource management functions like workforce planning, rostering, scheduling, forecasting, or productivity enhancement initiatives.
• Experience implementing or enhancing operational or workforce management systems.
• Skills in designing and refining operational processes, planning methods, governance frameworks, Target Operating Models, or process blueprints.
• Experience working across multiple locations, business units or global settings.
• Familiarity with data analytics, automation, AI solutions, or digital transformation programs.
• Strong facilitation and change management competencies with successful stakeholder engagement track records.
