Job description
About the Role
Housing & Development Board (HDB) works to provide affordable, quality homes and create a strong living environment where communities can flourish. In line with that mission, the organisation relies on data-led and evidence-based decisions to improve housing policy, enhance service delivery, and make operations more efficient.
Within HDB’s IT division, the Information Services Group (ISG) supports the agency’s digital transformation. The team covers a broad range of work, including corporate and business systems, cybersecurity, and the management of IT operations and infrastructure.
What You Will Do
In this Resource Executive role, you will help run recruitment activities end to end and contribute to a smooth hiring journey for both candidates and hiring teams.
- Support and coordinate recruitment activities across several technology roles and hiring teams.
- Work with hiring managers to arrange interviews, technical assessments, and panel sessions, including setting up panels, issuing calendar invitations, and sharing interview information with candidates.
- Keep recruitment records accurate and current in tracking systems.
- Assist with job advertising, candidate screening, and onboarding-related administration.
- Keep stakeholders informed on hiring progress and recruitment status.
- Respond to candidate questions and help ensure a positive applicant experience.
- Support recruitment events such as career fairs, university talks, and networking sessions by coordinating with universities and external vendors, and arranging registrations and venues.
- Handle event operations, including booth setup, supporting materials, manpower planning, and on-site coordination.
- Procure recruitment collaterals such as banners, booth materials, brochures, and giveaways by working with internal stakeholders and vendors on quotations, purchase requests, and delivery timelines.
- Contribute to recruitment initiatives, projects, and process improvement efforts.
What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate has a background or certification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field, together with experience in recruitment coordination, HR operations, or administrative support.
- Strong ability to stay organised and manage several roles and timelines at once.
- Clear, professional communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Comfort using recruitment systems, spreadsheets, and documentation tools.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to confidentiality.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to respond well to changing priorities.
- Useful additional experience includes supporting IT, technology, or professional hiring.
- Familiarity with recruitment processes in the public sector is an advantage.
- Well-developed stakeholder management and coordination abilities.
- Positive mindset and openness to learning.
- Team-oriented approach and the ability to work well across functions.
- Capability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.

The workplace also includes an official one-hour weekly mental wellness break, subsidised fitness and yoga classes, clubhouse facilities, and regular activities and events throughout the year that help build connections.
