About the Role
Beach Baker is recruiting for an established residential surveying company based in Gloucestershire seeking an experienced AssocRICS or MRICS qualified Residential Surveyor. The position concentrates exclusively on conducting Level 2 Home Surveys, working with properties primarily from 1950s builds to contemporary homes. The workload is consistent and focused on well-maintained residential stock within the local region covering Stroud, Dursley, and Gloucester.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Level 2 Home Surveys on residential properties using an iPad reporting system for streamlined and efficient delivery.
- Inspect homes and generate detailed, professional reports highlighting conditions and issues.
- Identify any property defects and provide practical, understandable advice to clients.
- Ensure high accuracy and efficiency in all survey tasks.
- Organise and manage your schedule independently to achieve weekly workload targets.
Candidate Profile
- Must hold AssocRICS or MRICS accreditation.
- Preferably have at least five years' experience performing Level 2 residential surveys.
- Background working in residential surveying within national or regional practices.
- Strong skills in detailed observation and report writing.
- Self-driven, well-organised, able to work independently.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence is required.
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive annual salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000, dependent on experience.
