About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Residential Cleaner to service rental properties by conducting thorough cleaning tasks including move-in/move-out cleans, rental turnover, and preparing listings to meet readiness standards. The company is a full-service leasing partner utilizing proprietary technology aimed at accelerating leasing processes, minimizing vacancy periods, and conducting comprehensive applicant screenings. The role requires attending various residential units and performing cleaning duties independently while adhering to checklists and documenting completed work clearly.
Primary Responsibilities
- Attend cleaning assignments at residential rental properties for move-in, move-out, turnover, and listing preparation.
- Carry out comprehensive cleaning duties adhering to the company's quality standards.
- Clean all major household areas including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures.
- Eliminate dust, dirt, debris, garbage, and leftover items as needed.
- Wipe down counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and high-contact surfaces.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop flooring thoroughly.
- Clean interiors of appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers where required.
- Identify and report areas requiring additional cleaning, repairs, maintenance, junk removal, or follow-up actions.
- Document cleaning outcomes with clear before-and-after photos and videos.
- Submit detailed updates and reports after each visit, maintaining professional communication with landlords, tenants, applicants, and internal teams.
- Follow detailed cleaning checklists, property access instructions, and appointment details carefully.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning roles, such as housekeeper, cleaning contractor, or residential cleaner.
- Good understanding of residential cleaning standards.
- Access to reliable transportation and necessary cleaning supplies for each assignment.
- Comfortable performing duties independently at residential rental properties.
- Possession of an iPhone 13 or an equivalent smartphone with a high-quality camera suitable for capturing property photos and videos.
- Able to take clear photographic and video evidence and compose written notes regarding completed work.
- Strong reliability, punctuality, professionalism, and keen attention to detail.
- Clear communicator able to interact respectfully with landlords, tenants, applicants, and team members.
- Capability to follow instructions, checklists, and property access guidance precisely.
Preferred Skills
- Experience specific to move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning.
- Background in cleaning residential rental properties in preparation for photoshoots, viewings, inspections, or tenant move-ins.
