Resident Technical Officer - Civil & Structural at Jurong Island

Role Overview

We are seeking a Resident Technical Officer specializing in Civil & Structural works to oversee construction activities at Jurong Island. The successful candidate will manage projects involving drainage systems, pavement construction, taxiways, and runways, ensuring all works comply with Singapore's regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise construction tasks related to drainage, pavements, taxiways, and runway developments.
• Ensure adherence to Singapore’s building codes and regulations throughout the project.
• Conduct regular site inspections focused on quality assurance and specification compliance.
• Liaise effectively with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and maintain steady project momentum.
• Track and report progress in terms of budget and scheduling.
• Establish and enforce safety measures to maintain a secure work environment.

Candidate Requirements

• At least three years of experience as a Resident Technical Officer in construction, with mandatory experience in piling works.
• Strong competence in project management and construction oversight.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to function independently as well as collaboratively within teams.
