Role Overview
At Miraval The Red Sea in Saudi Arabia, the Reservation Agent serves as the first point of contact for future guests and helps shape the experience from the first inquiry onward. The role calls for a composed, knowledgeable professional who can communicate the brand’s wellness-focused approach, support booking decisions, and assist with pre-arrival planning. It also contributes to Saudi Vision 2030 by enabling Saudi talent to represent the country’s expanding wellness tourism sector with professionalism and pride.
Guest Engagement and Booking
- Answer reservation enquiries quickly and in a polished manner across phone, email, and digital channels.
- Explain Miraval’s wellness philosophy and experiences in a way that helps guests connect their goals with the right stay.
- Walk guests through packages, live availability, room categories, and planning touchpoints for their visit.
- Enter bookings and amendments accurately in the reservation platform while keeping details precise.
- Follow up as needed to verify guest details, preferences, and expected arrival information.
Pre-Arrival Personalization and Coordination
- Partner with Experience Planners and Front Office colleagues to create smooth pre-arrival arrangements.
- Record guest preferences, occasions, and motivations in internal profiles to support tailored stays.
- Identify VIP, returning, and special-occasion guests so service teams can deliver personalized follow-through.
Systems and Reporting
- Keep the Property Management System and reservation records current at all times.
- Track room inventory, rate codes, and promotional offers according to guidance.
- Prepare daily reservation reports and maintain consistent data quality across systems.
Guest Service and Communication
- Maintain a warm, clear, and brand-appropriate tone in every guest interaction.
- Listen carefully to concerns and requests, resolving them when possible or escalating them appropriately.
- Manage cancellations and booking modifications with flexibility and empathy.
Sales Awareness and Revenue Contribution
- Understand pricing, package structures, and seasonal offers in order to explain their value confidently.
- Recommend relevant wellness add-ons, upgrades, or longer stays when suitable.
- Support revenue objectives by matching guest needs with the most appropriate offerings.
Teamwork and Collaboration
- Coordinate closely with Front Office, Sales, Experience Planning, and Marketing teams to keep messaging aligned and service consistent.
- Attend team briefings, training sessions, and cross-functional meetings to stay updated on standards and offerings.
Qualifications and Experience
- Open only to Saudi nationals, in line with Miraval’s commitment to local talent development and Vision 2030.
- At least 1 year of experience in hospitality, reservations, or customer service; experience in luxury settings is an advantage.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Ability to use reservation systems such as Opera or similar platforms, along with Microsoft Office tools.
- Knowledge of wellness resorts, spa concepts, or holistic hospitality is beneficial.
