Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mouse studies to assess safety and efficacy of novel therapeutics.
• Administer dosages through various routes including intraperitoneal, intravenous, subcutaneous, oral, and intranasal, adhering strictly to study instructions.
• Collect biological samples such as blood and organs (liver, kidney, spleen, lung, brain, muscle, heart, tumors, etc.) accurately.
• Provide support during surgeries and specialized in vivo techniques, with training available as necessary.
• Prepare and organize data related to dosing and animal conditions to aid scientific analysis.
• Assist in mouse EEG experiments by participating in procedures, monitoring, and gathering data as required.

Candidate Profile

• Experience handling laboratory animals in biotech, pharmaceutical, academic, or similar research settings.
• Skilled at basic animal care, precise dosing of mice using common administration routes, and maintaining meticulous records of treatments and animal health.
• Committed to routine maintenance tasks in the vivarium including cage cleaning, bedding replacement, supply management, and welfare monitoring.
• Adheres strictly to established protocols while fostering a clean, orderly, and efficient vivarium environment.
• Works reliably and efficiently, pays close attention to details, and is comfortable seeking guidance when needed.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, with equity options currently valued approximately between $50,000 and $200,000 before exercise costs, taxes, dilution, and liquidity risks.
• Salary offered will correspond to the candidate’s expertise, experience, and potential impact; candidates outside this range are welcome for discussion.
