Research Scientist (Chemistry) - AI Trainer

Role Overview

We seek an experienced Research Scientist with a strong background in chemistry to assist in training AI models. Your primary responsibility is to assess AI chatbots by posing intricate chemistry questions, analyzing their reasoning, and identifying areas for enhancement to elevate model performance and accuracy.

Required Expertise

Applicants must demonstrate expert-level knowledge in chemistry, which may encompass specialties such as Research and Development Chemistry, Formulation Science, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Process Development Chemistry.

Work Arrangement and Compensation

• Enjoy the freedom to select projects that interest you and schedule tasks flexibly at your convenience.
• Perform work remotely on your personal computer within your own environment.
• Compensation is hourly, starting at $40 USD per hour with potential bonuses on selected projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide AI chatbots with sophisticated chemistry-related problems and carefully assess their responses.
• Review AI model output to ensure scientific accuracy and optimal performance.

Candidate Qualifications

• Native or bilingual proficiency in English.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comprehensive understanding of general, organic, and physical chemistry principles.
• Educational background at the Master's or PhD level is preferred but not mandatory.

Additional Information

Applicants must reside in Canada, as only Canadian candidates will be considered for this independent contractor role. Payment will be processed through PayPal, with no monetary obligations requested from applicants. PayPal will also manage any necessary currency conversion from USD.
