About the Role
Join Sky 3 Entertainment, a Nashville-based independent entertainment company, as an Entertainment Social Media and Management Assistant supporting a contemporary country music artist. This position is an unpaid internship offered remotely, with the possibility of earning academic credit, designed to provide practical industry experience in artist promotion, social media, and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and schedule engaging posts, stories, reels, and short-form content for social media platforms
- Manage outreach efforts by communicating and networking with fans and industry contacts
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional planning to elevate the artist's presence
- Engage enthusiastically with fans and assist in street team activities
- Maintain consistent branding across multiple social media channels
- Assist in content planning and organizational tasks
- Monitor and report on social media analytics and audience engagement indicators
- Coordinate communications between artist, band members, management, staff, and interns
- Help with artist management activities, including booking outreach to venues and special events
- Craft communications targeting venues, media outlets, and industry partners
- Reach out to songwriters, radio, TV stations, and other music industry entities
- Support scheduling, planning, and administrative operations
- Maintain accurate records and update shared documents using online collaboration tools
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Availability to commit 10-15 hours per week over a minimum period of three months
- Capable of working remotely 4-5 days weekly for at least two hours per day
- Reliable computer, internet access, phone, and email communication
- Proficiency with Google Docs, Google Calendar, and spreadsheets
- Experienced with social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube
- Familiarity with Canva and Microsoft Office programs
- Adobe Photoshop skills considered advantageous
- Outgoing personality combined with a positive and proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and adapt to non-traditional work environments
- Strong willingness to learn and accept new responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at time management
Additional Information
This is an unpaid internship opportunity with options for academic credit. The internship focuses on either a Social Media and Marketing track or an Artist Management and Operations track, or both, depending on availability and applicant interest. Candidates beyond the Nashville area are encouraged to apply due to the fully remote nature of the role.
