Positioned centrally within this department, the role demands a dedicated effort toward high-quality outputs to serve valued clients. As a Research Production Specialist within Equity Research, you will consistently demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and provide vital assistance to skilled analysts.
Job Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with regional research analysts to assist in formatting and publishing reports using established templates.
- Independently compile reports, create periodicals, and ensure prompt publication in compliance with relevant guidelines.
- Support research analysts in the production and distribution of research materials, especially when they lack direct system access.
- Uphold stringent controls in coordination with internal teams, aligning with company policies and regulatory updates.
- Prioritize tasks based on market deadlines and partner with colleagues to develop timely Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations.
- Contribute effectively to organizing and promoting research events, conferences, and conference calls aimed at engaging targeted audiences and strengthening firm-client relationships.
- Develop actionable plans with a forward-looking focus on continuous innovation.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
- At least two years of experience supporting research production.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and multitasking skills, along with enthusiasm for producing high-quality work.
- Capability to proofread independently and deliver results under pressure amid evolving methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences via email.
- Flexibility to work non-standard shifts beginning between 8 PM and 11 PM, with readiness to switch between day and night shifts as needed. Night shifts may extend continuously for three to four weeks, and willingness to stay late when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic familiarity with Photoshop is an advantage.
- Knowledge of programming and coding is a plus.
