Job description
Position Overview
The National University of Singapore's College of Design and Engineering, within the Civil and Environmental Engineering department, seeks a Research Fellow to join Dr Prateek Bansal's research team. The role is based at the Kent Ridge Campus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement methods to integrate survey data with passively collected datasets such as smart card information.
- Create survey instruments and conduct data collection activities relevant to research objectives.
- Conduct validation of newly developed methodologies by utilizing publicly available datasets.
- Engage in independent research and collaborate actively with team members.
- Contribute to writing grant applications and assist in guiding doctoral and postgraduate students.
Qualifications and Skills
- PhD degree in disciplines such as Travel Behaviour, Management, Economics, Statistics, Psychology, or related fields.
- Solid understanding of discrete choice experiments and estimation of related models.
- Strong expertise in optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in programming econometric models using R, Python, or MATLAB.
- Excellent communication abilities in both writing and speaking.
