About the Role

Generation Z Bangladesh is seeking a meticulous Research Analyst to join their team full-time on-site in the United States. This position is suited for entry-level to mid-level professionals who excel at analyzing data, recognizing patterns, and providing actionable insights that drive strategic business choices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform both quantitative and qualitative research utilizing internal and external data sources.
  • Collect, examine, and interpret information related to market trends, industries, customers, competitors, and business operations.
  • Create comprehensive research reports, presentations, dashboards, and strategic insights for key stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, economic factors, market conditions, and emerging opportunities.
  • Evaluate business performance metrics, offering suggestions for enhancements.
  • Design and implement surveys, interviews, and other data collection methods as needed.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and uphold high research quality standards.
  • Assist with strategic planning and various initiatives such as business development, marketing, investment, and operations through research findings.
  • Develop financial, statistical, or market analysis models where applicable.
  • Present research conclusions and recommendations to management and cross-departmental teams.
  • Partner with different stakeholders to clarify research goals and business requirements.
  • Maintain research databases, knowledge bases, and market intelligence tools.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Preferred experience in research, data analysis, consulting, market research, business intelligence, finance, or related disciplines.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical evaluation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis software.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, or similar analytical platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent skills in both quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Superior written and verbal communication, along with presentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and convey findings clearly.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in fields such as Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, Data Analytics, Social Sciences, Marketing, or related areas is preferred.
