Role Overview

This position is part of the food and beverage service team at The Ritz-Carlton. The focus is on shaping a polished, memorable dining experience for guests, not simply delivering meals. In this role, you help make every interaction feel thoughtful and seamless, from welcoming guests to supporting service throughout the meal.

Key Duties

  • Prepare tables and dining areas to meet service standards.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to keep meal service running smoothly.
  • Welcome and interact with guests in a professional, attentive manner.
  • Serve food and beverages as needed during service.
  • Clear, clean, and organize workstations, equipment, and service supplies.
  • Contribute to a guest experience that feels part of the overall dining occasion.

Work Expectations

All team members are expected to maintain a safe work environment, follow company procedures, and uphold quality standards. Professional grooming, conduct, and communication are essential. The role involves extended periods of standing, sitting, and walking, including movement on inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces. It also requires careful handling of menus and other information, plus physical activity such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing up to 25 pounds without help and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Bending, twisting, stooping, reaching overhead, and working below knee level may also be part of the job.

Qualifications
