Role Overview

We seek a knowledgeable and motivated Renderer to join our team. Your render finishing will be the final and highly visible layer on some of Brisbane's most striking outdoor projects. This role demands serious commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities

• Mix, prepare, and apply cement, acrylic, and specialized renders to feature walls, planter boxes, columns, formed concrete, and other architectural outdoor elements.
• Ensure finishes are smooth, durable, level, and aligned with design specifications.
• Prepare and prime substrates such as masonry, block, concrete, and fibre cement correctly.
• Apply texture and color renders as required by project designs.
• Participate actively in large-scale hardscape and softscape landscape construction alongside the crew.
• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant work sites at all times.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone meticulous and patient who takes pride in rendering. Quality is not just about appearance on day one but longevity and resilience over the years.

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven experience in external rendering using cement and/or acrylic.
• Ability to create smooth, uniform, and high-quality render finishes.
• Experience with substrate preparation and priming techniques.
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Holds a valid White Card.
• Possession of a current driver's license and access to a suitable vehicle.
• Must have legal rights to work in Australia.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Trade qualification in Plastering or Rendering.
• Background in residential or outdoor construction rendering.
• Skill in applying textured or feature render finishes.
• Experience with blocklaying – complementary to this role.
