Job description
About the Role
This is a full-time remote opportunity with a fast-scaling U.S.-based consumer advocacy law firm. The team focuses on helping everyday consumers challenge unfair corporate practices, consumer fraud, and deceptive contracts. The role calls for a creative professional who can turn raw footage and rough concepts into refined, credible video assets that support legal marketing while maintaining a strong balance of engagement and trust.
What You’ll Do
- Transform raw footage into polished marketing videos designed to perform well across Shorts, Reels, TikTok, and long-form formats.
- Enhance edits with motion graphics, clear text treatment, sound design, and color correction/grading to raise production quality.
- Develop concepts and build storyboards from marketing briefs for explainers, client stories, and advocacy-focused videos.
- Maintain and structure digital media libraries, project files, and reusable raw footage templates.
- Stay current with short-form video trends, pacing patterns, and hook strategies while preserving a professional brand tone.
Skills & Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be highly detail-oriented, capable of independent work, and comfortable operating under tight deadlines with feedback-driven revisions. Strong software skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve are essential. A portfolio or showreel that demonstrates strong pacing, storytelling, visual engagement, and professional audio work is required. Applicants also need a dependable high-speed internet connection and a powerful computer that can handle complex renders efficiently.
Application Notes
Only applicants who include a resume and a portfolio/showreel link will be reviewed. Submissions without sample work will not be considered. The first line of the cover letter must begin with the word “ADVOCATE” to confirm careful reading of the instructions.
